Spa/pump room

The Paracelsus spring is fed directly into the drinking fountain in the pump room, where you can drink it fresh from the spring. This water can also be enjoyed at the drinking fountains in the Paracelsus thermal baths.

Not every town has a pump room like the one in Bad Liebenzell. No wonder as we have eleven thermal springs! Not with this history. As early as the 16th century, the famous doctor and natural scientist Paracelsus conducted studies about the Zeller spa in Bad Liebenzell. It was not until the 1950s that the town itself really got into the business of drilling thermal springs. The eleven thermal springs are the result. A small miracle.

The pump room bears witness to this. Built 40 years ago, this small architectural jewel was completely renovated in 2018 and now serves as a centre for tourist information and as an exhibition and sales room for the treasures and delicacies of Bad Liebenzell and the northern Black Forest region. Above all, of course, the thermal springs: you can drink the water from the famous Paracelsus spring in the pump room.
