Contracts worth around € 940,000 awarded
Several contracts were awarded at the municipal council meeting of May 19.
An expert opinion, detailing the implementation or creation of a recultivation layer as part of the recultivation of the “Hochholz” landfill site, will have to be obtained. ICP in Karlsruhe was commissioned to do this work (just under € 50,000).
The Unterhaugstett primary school, which dates back to the 1960s, is to be completely renovated. Initial contracts totalling around € 180,000 were awarded to local and regional companies for the sanitation, ventilation, roof covering, plumbing and scaffolding work.
In total, the renovation costs for the primary school amounts to € 1.55 million, just under € 1.09 million of this was subsidised by the state.
The town centre has its own water supply network. After the “Kaffeehof I” elevated tank (ET) was taken out of service in 2019, the town proposed the construction of a supply line to the “Kaffeehof II” ET as well as the renewal of the down pipe from the “Diebsfeld” ET that goes to the “Kaffeehof II ET”.
The civil engineering and water pipeline work was awarded to the local company Kusterer&Hirschberger at approx. € 550,000 –which was the most economical bid.
The process engineering equipment will also be renovated along with the repairs to the water tanks. Strecker from Tuttlingen was commissioned to do this work at a quote price of just under € 160,000.
